Best Darn Lighter Ever! (2009-07-03)
I've tried a lot of lighters over the years -- from Zippos (cheap, reliable), to Colibris (nice designs, somewhat expensive), to Porsche Design (over-engineered, very pretty, very expensive, but unreliable) -- and this one tops them all!

Lights the first time, every time. Read the very clear and brief instructions on how to ignite this lighter. There's a slight trick to it.....but it's mastered in a click or two.

Lit just fine when stuck outside in gusty thunderstorm the other day! Surprised (and pleased) the heck out of me! And that's with rain and wind pelting down as we waited for a bus.

The fuel level "window" is a gem! This lighter tends to use butane very conservatively, too!

Couldn't be more pleased!

Stormproof. Maybe motorcycle proof. (2009-06-30)
When I smoke, I do it on the highway with the windows down. Which sucks if you haven't lit your cigarette yet, unless you own one of these. 70+ MPH and it still lights. That's all the endorsement I need to give.

Works on the first click (2009-06-10)
I purchased this lighter for back woods camping and to replace a less expensive "storm proof" lighter, which was perhaps storm proof but never would light. The price of this lighter was high, but when you are far from civilization, you really need a product that you can rely on, and so far this one has never failed to light on the first click. The blaze orange color is also a help if you happen to drop it a pile of leaves.

Exceeded my expectations (2009-05-12)
I've used this lighter constantly in and out of wind and water for about 6 months. Zero maintenance, utterly reliable. Catches eyes and I've had many compliments on it. It seemed pricey as I was considering buying it, but it's well worth the investment.

Great Lighter! (2009-04-08)
I've taken this camping a few times now, and it has worked beautifully. I've been in some very windy conditions, and there has never been a problem getting it to light and stay lit. Pretty darn good price too, and the product arrived promptly.
